Supporting Inmates with Faith and Practical Help
At The Least of These, Inc., we provide Bibles, Christian books, and spiritual guidance to inmates seeking hope and transformation. Beyond faith-based resources, we also assist with reentry support, research help, and mentorship, ensuring that those preparing for release have the tools they need for a fresh start.
Every service we offer is rooted in the belief that no one is beyond redemption, and with the right support, inmates can find purpose, healing, and a new path forward.
Bibles and Faith-Based Books
Many inmates are seeking spiritual guidance but lack access to Bibles and Christian literature. We provide personalized Bibles with their name embossed on the cover, along with faith-based books and devotionals to help them grow in their relationship with Christ. These resources serve as a foundation for hope, transformation, and daily encouragement.
Personalized Journals
Writing is a powerful tool for self-reflection, healing, and spiritual growth. We send personalized journals to inmates, encouraging them to write down prayers, scripture reflections, and personal thoughts as they navigate their faith journey. Keeping a journal helps them stay connected to God’s Word and their personal transformation.
Reentry Program Guidance
Preparing for life after prison is challenging, and many inmates are left with little to no direction upon release. We help by researching and connecting them with faith-based reentry programs that provide essential support such as job training, housing assistance, and life skills development. These programs help ensure a successful reintegration into society.
Research Assistance
Some inmates are working toward education and personal development but lack access to necessary research materials. Whether they are studying scripture, taking college courses, or working on legal matters, we assist by finding and providing relevant resources to support their efforts.
Inmate Correspondence
Many inmates feel isolated and forgotten. Through letters and emails (where available), we provide a listening ear, encouragement, and faith-based mentorship. We answer their spiritual questions, discuss scripture and Christian teachings, and offer emotional and moral support. This connection helps build trust, hope, and a sense of belonging.
Transition Support
For inmates nearing release, finding a safe, faith-based support system is crucial. Many reach out to us with concerns about where they will go next. We assist by helping them locate Christian-based programs and transitional housing that provide a stable foundation, job training, and spiritual mentorship. Our goal is to help them find guidance and a fresh start in a Christ-centered environment.
